01 · Manifesto

Nobody asks a machine to love them back. This week we are going to try anyway.

Not with flowers, but with attention, the only currency a machine actually understands.

We'll spend our evenings teaching something small to think, do, move. By the end of the week the models and machines will have attempted walking, moving and passing the matura exam.

On paper it will be just two hackathons. In practice, it's a week-long argument about what intelligence is for.

Warsaw, September. Come fall in love with something that wasn't built to love you back.

Models /// 46 hours

Warsaw Model Trainers

Every team gets the same exam: matura-style questions generated from Polish Wikipedia, graded automatically, scored in points. One board, everyone on it, prizes per track. Models up to a few gigabytes — Bielik, PLLuM and others — so a laptop is enough to enter.

Track 01 · Harness
Build around the model — retrieval, tools, prompts, checking loops. No training, no weight changes, the score still climbs.
Track 02 · Fine-tuning
Tune a small open model on data you build yourself. GPU credits provided. You leave with a model you trained.

Robots /// 48 work hours

Alien Bazaar

A hardware hackathon at Hacker Bloc, a three-storey hacker house. Twenty teams from across Europe, each handed a different piece of hardware across six robotics categories. No set task: unite the robots into one ecosystem and automate the house.

The hardware
Drones, robot arms, underwater drones, robodogs, quadrupeds, humanoids and headsets. One main unit per team, extras unlocked on site.
The judging
Creativity of the idea, collaboration with other teams, and the effort invested. What gets pitched is the combined system.
